Since Sunday, a group of students and teachers from La Réunion visit the btg in the context of our Erasmus+ activities. The visitors are part of the Lycée professionel Paul Langevin in St. Joseph, a town on the French island of La Réunion. The Lycée professionel Paul Langevin and the btg have a long-standing partnership since 2017.
The students will spend the next four weeks in Gelsenkirchen. First, both the students and the teachers will explore school life at the btg and then complete placements in various companies in the area with a focus on electrical engineering and IT.
Joint activities are planned for the free time. Among other things, the group will take a trip to Cologne, visit the Gasometer in Oberhausen and relax at the lake in Haltern.
We wish all participants a pleasant stay.
