Course profile

These courses are full-time courses that lasts one year. They provide professional knowledge, professional skills and hands-on training involved in a specific field of work. EQL 2 courses focus on metal technology, whereas you can choose if you would like to focus on design or metal technology in EQL 3 courses.

Qualifications

EQL 2: In this course you can obtain the “Erweiterter Erster Schulabschluss” diploma (relatable to ‘Level 2’ of the European Qualifications Framework). 

EQL 3: In this course you can obtain the “Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss” diploma (relatable to ‘Level 3’ of the European Qualifications Framework).

Under certain conditions, you may also obtain the entitlement to attend the “Gymnasiale Oberstufe”, which is a higher-level secondary school, so that you can take your “Abitur” qualifications (relatable to ‘Level 4’ of the European Qualifications Framework).

Admission requirements

For EQL 2 courses: Students interested in attending this course must possess the “Erster Schulabschluss” diploma or a diploma that is equivalent (relatable to ‘Level 1’ of the European Qualifications Framework).

For EQL 3 courses: Students interested in attending this course must possess the “Erweiterter Erster Schulabschluss” diploma or a diploma that is equivalent (relatable to ‘Level 2’ of the European Qualifications Framework).
