This course is a full-time course that lasts one year. It provides professional knowledge, professional skills and hands-on training involved in a specific field of work. You can choose if you would like to focus on design or metal technology. In addition, students who successfully complete this course will receive their “Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss” diploma.

Under certain conditions, you may also obtain the entitlement to attend the “Gymnasiale Oberstufe”, which is a higher-level secondary school, so that you can take your “Abitur” qualifications (relatable to ‘Level 4’ of the European Qualifications Framework).

Students interested in attending this course must possess the “Erweiterter Erster Schulabschluss” diploma or a diploma that is equivalent (relatable to ‘Level 2’ of the European Qualifications Framework).
